"India Will Never Be The Same"

That is what we were told by leaders of the India Pentecostal Church (IPC) as we wrapped up our week of ministering at their 84th annual convention. On Saturday, the final night of the convention, the crowd had swelled to over 50,000 people. The grounds were packed and I knew we were in for a long night of ministering. The previous night was no different as myself and two others on our team prayed with a 75 year old man who was born blind (pictured above) who regained his sight until midnight. Considering that ministry time had started around 9, that is a lot of praying! The joy of the Lord was all over this man who travelled alone to the convention which was his 62nd consecutive time!

One of the first people that came to me on Saturday was a woman with several tumors on her stomach area, one very painful one near her heart, and also pain in her back. I was convinced going into the night that I was not going to stop praying for anyone until they were healed. There was some breakthrough but the tumors on her stomach would not dissolve. I kept praying though, not wanting to send her away without receiving her healing. It was particularly hard to keep praying for her because of the crowds pushing in on us wanting prayer. I actually had my translator begin to interview and pray for others while I was praying for this woman. I would then find out what was wrong with the other people and pray for them while the translator found out if the tumors were any smaller. After 15-20 minutes and numerous prayers we had breakthrough and the tumors completely dissolved! Praise God! The woman was so happy! Not only was her pain gone, but the tumors were gone as well!

That night I prayed for 5 people with diabetes, 3 people with some level of deafness (because of the number of people waiting and the difficulty of using a translator I didn’t found out how deaf they were), 2 people who were going blind, 1 woman who had an issue of bleeding, a baby with a paralyzed arm (everyone on our team prayed for this baby for 2 nights and tonight just after I felt released to leave the baby and return to praying for others, the baby squeezed the finger of another person still praying), and countless people with pain all over their bodies. I am happy to report that all were healed!

On Friday afternoon we had our second day of Healing Rooms. It was an amazing day that set the precedent for Saturday night in that everyone who came to me left healed! Most of the people on our team experienced the same success that day and all on the team had a very high percentage of people healed over the week.

It wasn’t always that easy, though. The first night we were there it seemed very difficult to minister as the people were very content to just receive prayer. “I believe I am healed,” they would say. “I believe that God will heal me soon.” We continued to press in individually and tell the people that we aren’t here to pray for God to heal them, we are here to see God heal them. Things began to break open as we persisted, prayed, and expected great miracles from God. In all, we estimate that our prayers resulted in 1,500-2,000 miracles. At the beginning of the trip we heard that they had not experience miracles at their convention in 15 years. A day or two later they told us that they hadn’t seen consistent miracles like this in 25 years. Then by the end of the week they told us that they had never seen miracles like this! And this was just from a group of 9 people who needed translators to communicate! Also, it doesn’t include possible healings that took place during times of corporate prayer where it is very possible for the number of miracles to radically increase. Miracles during the trip included dozens of cases of diabetes, deafness and tumors dissolved. Many blind, lame, crippled, mute, and other conditions were healed. Additionally, several cases of polio were healed!

In addition to seeing so many healed and their thoughts about God change, we also had a profound impact on the leadership of IPC. The worship leader at the convention was healed of diabetes one afternoon at lunch. He came back the next day having not taken any insulin and having testing his blood producing results confirming his healing. Several family members of senior leaders were healed as well as a few leaders themselves. As the week went on the leaders saw the need for God to move in power through their 14,000 churches. So not only were people healed, but they also had their minds renewed and were equipped to take revival back to their homes all over India. India will never be the same!

On the way home our flight took us to the beautiful nation of Singapore. While we were unable to shorten our layover, we were able to spend the day with the leaders of a church that will be starting a school of ministry modeled after the one I attend in California. While touring their offices, the leader of our trip asked if anyone in their office needing healing. An hour later after going in to their staff meeting we saw 7 of their staff get healed! We also prophesied over these pastors and released words of destiny to them. They expect nearly 1,000 students to be in their school when it starts later this year. Such a great connection was made that even after only a few hours we were invited back to Singapore just as we had been invited back to India.

Please consider partnering with me on future trips either financially or in prayer. How awesome our God is to set hearts on fire that can easily impact a country of over 1 billion people. Today I heard that over 1,200 people have already registered for the conference in Hawaii next month. I am getting so excited to see people not only receive God’s healing touch, but also to be equipped to influence their cities and churches. Australia is just two months away. The Kingdom of Heaven is truly at hand!
